SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT - JUNIOR FREELANCER

AD ASTRA AGENCY is hiring either a Social Media Assistant (Junior Freelancer). We are looking for someone creative and ambitious to help support with client work, the tasks might look slightly different each week, but key responsibilities can include a range of the below: 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Founder on client strategy execution

  • Own daily management of client accounts - scheduling, posting, community engagement 

  • Supporting on content creation

  • Designing Instagram stories + ad hoc assets

  • Caption writing 

  • Reels / Tik Tok editing 

  • Contributing ideas and monitoring trends 

SKILLS

  • Creative thinker with organisational skills

  • Content creation, Video editing, basic graphic design, copywriting, community management 

  • Confident using: Instagram, TikTok & Pinterest, Canva or similar, GSuite, Capcut or similar, Planoly / Later or similar

SPECIFICATIONS

  • 1 day  / 8 hrs a week, with opportunity to increase 

  • Min. 1-2 years experience working in social media 

  • A strong understanding of the social media landscape and influencer marketing 

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • Strong communicator and relationship builder 

  • Existing relationships with brands, agencies and industry professionals are a bonus, but not required

  • Works well independently and collaboratively as part of a team

  • Proficiency in English 

LOCATION

London-based, but we mostly work remote.
